Project flow
The importance of solid project management and collaborative frameworks can not be understated. To create world class digital solutions, our project teams work methods have to be clearly defined and followed. As a senior level professional, I am deeply involved in the ongoing development of these practices, from SCRUM based agile methods to standardized tool and software level customs.
We always strive to make our cross team collaboration and workflow practices as effective as possible. I am actively involved in the ongoing development of our project team's processes, and further refining of previously standardized agile methods.
The entire product development process must always be considered. Common practices should be evident throughout the process, beginning with the basic requirements and Service Design phases and advancing to the actual UX/UI practices, culminating in cross-team responsibilities during code-based development.
Commonly accepted agile and cyclic project framework methods.
A professional team is always greater than the sum of its parts. It is essential to involve all of our development team members' areas of expertise at every stage of the process. I play an integral and responsible role in the development of these cyclic principles into a fully functional project framework.
Clearly defining team member roles and responsibilities through cyclic collaboration, design implementation, iteration, and stakeholder involvement generally results in world-class services with sound and validated feature solutions.
A common language and standardized tool level principles between our various team members is a crucial part to our success. Clearly defined and project phase specific procedures enable us to easily collaborate with internal team members and hand over materials between various stakeholders. Having been deeply involved in the creation of these methods, I am always motivated to improve our processes and to adapt new and effective technologies into our existing workflow.
Industry standard software solutions and crossteam design principles.
Clearly defined technical approaches make our UI layouts easy to digest and effortless to implement. See the technical approach for further information. These cross-team standards should naturally apply to all areas of our development team's process. Working on acknowledged platforms in a standardized manner allows us to successfully build on each other's work and complement our insights across our respective areas of expertise.
Working in a commercial setting requires us to continuously evaluate available resources and financial constraints. Starting with early workload estimates and project sales, we always have a financial constraint that dictates how we're able to approach our service features. This inherited limit has to guide our solutions at every stage, from Service Design decisions to UX/UI Design implementations.
Design backlog of detailed task estimations broken down in a project phase and component specific sections.
Defining our feature solutions for the budget at hand must drive our whole development project approach. Allocating more resources to key core functions should always be considered. This might require simplifying our approaches for other non-essential components and must be done within the constraints of the initial feature specifications.
Once the UX/UI Design process begins, I must accept these financial constraints and tailor my personal approaches to a reasonable time schedule. This budget-aware discussion must then be expanded to include our project teams' other areas of expertise in order to confirm our methods' implementational requirements.
Throughout the development cycle, we must examine our solutions and compare our progress to the time constraints and resources available. Through this inherent project management, we can always ensure that we are developing as intended and can change our development procedures on the fly if necessary.
Developing meticulous project flow and design processes is great in and of itself, but in the end it is ineffective if our various development team members are not fully incorporated into these practices. As a highly seasoned professional, I play a critical role in my current organization's employee training and process implementation. I partake in professional tutoring and lead our internal design team's development projects through workshop facilitation and systematic documentation.
Building and maintaining functional project frameworks and workflow processes is a highly responsible work that I gladly devote all of my professional experience to. In the end, I am constantly striving to grow as a professional and to continue providing my colleagues with the capabilities necessary to respond to our clients' requests in projects of ever-increasing complexity.
Documenting internal practices and new team member onboarding manuals.
As an individual who is actively involved in project management and workflow practices, it's no surprise that I also participate in potential employee interviews and new team member onboarding. Recognizing employee applicant abilities and getting new team members up to speed on in-house processes and practices is no easy task.
It is vital to properly brief team members and continue to provide them with workflow-specific implementation support. Regardless of how well-defined our procedures are, it is equally important that I remain open to new ideas and evaluate alternate approaches to future project framework integration.
I play an integral role in your digital product development cycle and go through all of the necessary design stages on each and every project. Take a look at specific steps that particularly interest you, or go in deep and review all of my thoughts regarding the subject.
Having a solid foundation in a variety of concepts and design principles has allowed me to put my skills in good use.
